Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend software using C# and .NET, comprising approximately 70% of the role.
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, integrations, and event-driven solutions.
- Develop modern, responsive frontend applications and components using React, comprising approximately 30% of the role.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Contribute to architecture, tooling, development practices, engineering standards, automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration and deployment.
- Research solutions independently and propose technologies and frameworks for future products.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of professional software development experience.
- Strong commercial experience developing backend applications and services with C# and .NET.
- At least three years of experience with React or similar modern frontend frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, software development principles, RESTful API design, and integration patterns.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs with .NET, preferably .NET 10.
- Experience designing relational database schemas and data models, preferably with AWS RDS or Amazon Aurora MySQL.
- Experience with event-driven solutions, preferably Amazon SQS, S3, and AWS Lambda services.
- Experience with AI-assisted development and tooling, including MCP servers, structured prompting, and AI tools and skills.
- Experience integrating workspace APIs, preferably Microsoft Graph and Google Gmail APIs.
- Experience with server-side document generation and modification using Aspose or similar platforms.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph and Microsoft 365 services, Google APIs and Google Workspace services, macOS application development, and cross-ecosystem integrations is highly regarded.
