Base Salary
$173k - $2601k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain infrastructure for feature access logic, promotions, trials, in-product notifications, and experimentation.
- Design and ship shared platform capabilities used by Slack Growth teams across backend and frontend initiatives.
- Partner with product managers, designers, data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders on growth-focused systems.
- Lead engineering-driven projects from design through launch and post-launch while resolving ambiguous problems.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience designing, building, and operating production systems at scale.
- Proficiency in a high-level programming language such as Python or Go.
- Experience leading cross-team and cross-functional projects from design through launch and post-launch.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with TypeScript/React and PHP/Hack.
- Preferred experience with entitlements or permissions, promotions, trials, experimentation, or notification systems.
