Base Salary
$230k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with software engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-performing, accessible features for more than 100 million customers.
- Influence multi-quarter engineering roadmaps covering modernization, modularization, and data flow.
- Architect, build, and maintain shared front-end components and libraries adopted across multiple teams.
- Establish standards for cross-platform consistency, scalability, accessibility, web performance, networking, and design systems.
- Partner with infrastructure and backend teams to improve CI/CD, observability, reliability engineering, and release practices.
- Define strategies for agentic AI tools and open-standard workflows, including specialized agents, skills, and tools.
- Mentor senior engineers in AI-native workflows and contribute hands-on expertise in PWAs, WebAssembly, mobile web, and Service Workers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience, excluding internships.
- At least 6 years of experience developing applications with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte.
- At least 3 years of experience architecting or leading federated front-end or design systems with cross-application adoption.
- Preferred qualifications include 7 or more years with TypeScript and JavaScript and modern web frameworks, experience with Jest, Cypress, or Playwright, and experience with modular architecture.
- Preferred qualifications include technical leadership for a large product area, multi-team component or shared design system development, client BFFs, gRPC/Protobuf data-fetching strategies, release health metrics, canary releases, feature flags, and agentic AI coding tools.
