Base Salary
$215k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with software engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-performing features for more than 100 million customers.
- Provide technical leadership for front-end architecture, design patterns, performance, accessibility, and reusable component development.
- Mentor engineers through feedback, code reviews, best-practice sharing, and AI-assisted development guidance.
- Design and develop client Backend-for-Frontends, micro-frontends, and federated application architectures.
- Define engineering practices for feature flags, canary rollouts, testing, quality, and product delivery.
- Apply modern web technologies including progressive web applications, WebAssembly, mobile web, and Service Workers.
- Champion agentic AI tools and AI-native development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative field such as statistics, economics, operations research, analytics, mathematics, or engineering.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience developing applications with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web frameworks.
- Preferred: 4+ years with TypeScript and JavaScript and 4+ years with modern web frameworks, HTML, and CSS.
- Preferred: experience with automated testing frameworks, web performance tuning, scalable front-end architectures, reusable component libraries, and comprehensive automated testing.
- Preferred: experience developing client Backend-for-Frontends using GraphQL and networking technologies such as gRPC/Protobuf.
- Preferred: experience with micro-frontend or federated architectures, metrics-driven canary releases, feature flags, and agentic AI coding tools.
