Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux-based environments and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Docker and Podman.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents and platform issues across private and public cloud deployments.
- Develop and maintain Bash automation scripts and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and telemetry systems while identifying performance and reliability risks.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and infrastructure teams on deployment, modernization, legacy migration, and cloud adoption initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Linux environments.
- Practical experience with Docker or Podman and advanced Bash scripting for complex automation.
- Experience with AWS and hybrid deployments across private and public cloud environments.
- Strong networking fundamentals, including interfaces, routing, connectivity, and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, Ansible, or similar CI/CD and automation tools.
- Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, or equivalent monitoring and observability platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a reliability-focused delivery mindset, and professional written and spoken English.
- Preferred experience with C# or Java, .NET or JVM-based applications, application lifecycle management, Linux performance tuning, legacy-platform modernization, complex deployment pipelines, and self-hosted infrastructure services.
