Responsibilities
- Work with developers to prototype and design infrastructure-related features.
- Deploy, install, configure, and maintain trading, finance, and related software.
- Configure bare-metal instances using Infrastructure as Code.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Make decisions related to scalability, reliability, and accessibility.
- Install and manage monitoring and logging systems.
- Design and configure cloud-based servers and networks, including servers, storage, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring.
- Administer UNIX infrastructure through installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Work with Nexus and Git repositories.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the field.
- Experience as an SRE or DevOps professional.
- Strong OS-level administration experience with Linux and/or UNIX.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Ansible and/or Terraform.
- Experience orchestrating Docker containers with OpenShift and/or HashiCorp technologies.
- Ability to read and analyze errors.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and the ISO/OSI stack.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Zabbix, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Grafana, and Kibana.
- Experience with Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, and/or Envoy.
- English proficiency of at least B2 level.
- Preferred experience supporting JVM applications, including garbage collection and memory leaks.
- Preferred software development and scripting experience with Bash, Python, and/or Groovy.
- Preferred experience configuring TeamCity CI/CD pipelines and solving problems with code and scripting.
