Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain ML infrastructure and tooling for data preparation, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML models with automated testing, validation, and safe rollout and rollback strategies.
- Implement scalable, reliable, and low-latency batch, real-time, and streaming model deployment patterns.
- Build monitoring and observability for data drift, model performance, and system health, including alerting and incident response processes.
- Partner with Data Scientists and ML Engineers on feature engineering pipelines, model packaging, and environment standardization.
- Integrate ML workloads with data platforms and pipelines while supporting data quality, lineage, and governance.
- Drive versioning, experiment tracking, reproducibility, documentation, security, compliance, and cost optimization practices for ML infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams using ML platform tools and workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Production-grade programming experience in Python or similar languages for data and ML workflows.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for data or ML projects.
- Familiarity with ML frameworks and tooling such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, and Vertex AI.
- Understanding of software engineering practices including code reviews, testing, logging, monitoring, and documentation.
- Experience collaborating across Data Science, Data Engineering, Product, and Operations teams.
- Preferred experience in dedicated MLOps, ML Platform, or ML Infrastructure roles across multiple model lifecycles.
- Preferred experience with feature stores, model registries, experiment tracking, streaming or near-real-time processing, and observability stacks.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security considerations in ML systems.
- Familiarity with LLM and GenAI workloads is a plus.
