Responsibilities
- Lead security initiatives to improve the security posture of critical assets.
- Act as a subject matter expert for security technologies in the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain security-focused libraries and automation tools.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure coding principles.
- Conduct code reviews to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Partner with platform engineers to define and enforce security policies.
- Conduct security threat modeling for applications.
- Evaluate and implement security and governance tools.
- Lead penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Act as a lead responder for security incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
- Strong software engineering skills with experience in building secure applications.
- Ability to write and optimize code with security in mind.
- Strong understanding of cryptography and secure authentication protocols.
- Expertise in network security technologies.
- Proficient in securing services in major cloud environments.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python or Bash) and programming languages (Go or Node.js).
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate security risks.
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage priorities.
