Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end user support and triage for EDA environments, configurations, software integrations, and infrastructure.
- Debug AI/GenAI agent workflows, including orchestration failures, tool invocation issues, and nondeterministic behavior.
- Configure and onboard projects and users while driving scalable adoption and enablement plans.
- Define functional specifications, real-world test cases, reproducible debugging scenarios, and comprehensive validation strategies.
- Integrate tools into automated regression and validation pipelines and report performance and telemetry metrics.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve observability, debuggability, stability, and developer productivity.
Requirements
- 14+ years of Applications Engineering or Customer Engineering experience, preferably in Physical Design such as PNR or floor planning.
- Strong VLSI, Physical Design, and EDA workflow knowledge.
- Knowledge of agentic AI, MCP, and RAG workflows, with preferred experience in AI/GenAI tools, agent frameworks, or orchestration systems.
- Proven ability to triage and debug complex software and tool issues and independently run end-to-end workflows.
- Strong Python, Linux, and scripting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 6+ years of related experience; alternatively, a master's degree plus 5+ years or a PhD plus 4+ years.
- At least 2 years of Software Test or System Test experience developing or automating test plans and tools.
- Preferred experience includes evaluation or benchmarking pipelines, CI/CD, large-scale systems, HPC environments, workflow or UX improvement, and developer productivity.
