Base Salary
$125k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Invent tools and processes for fast, accurate, and easy-to-use development and deployment systems.
- Provide software validation through virtualized, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-orbit test platforms.
- Monitor and analyze data supporting continuous integration and release systems.
- Perform hands-on integration and troubleshooting across the Starlink stack.
- Create and manage core infrastructure, including databases and software libraries.
- Identify improvement opportunities and develop solutions that increase developer velocity.
- Own the complete lifecycle of created software, including development, testing, and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM discipline plus 1+ years of combined software development experience, including professional and/or internship experience; alternatively, 3+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- Development experience in Python, Go, or C++.
- Preferred experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or systems administration.
- Strong understanding of testing, continuous integration, build, deployment, and continuous monitoring.
- Experience with build systems such as Bazel, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, or ArgoCD is preferred.
- Fluency in Python and strong skills in debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing.
- Experience managing large-scale systems and deploying software used in real-world applications or projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and engineering skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Must satisfy applicable ITAR citizenship, residency, refugee, asylee, or authorization requirements.
