Base Salary
$170k - $233k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, deployment, and operationalization of AI-driven solutions for complex business challenges.
- Advise stakeholders on applied AI opportunities, risks, best practices, and implementation plans.
- Architect and deploy machine learning models in production while improving their performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end AI pipelines covering data ingestion, preprocessing, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Translate research and experimental AI approaches into practical, enterprise-grade solutions.
- Mentor engineering teams and support large, complex, transformative initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Embed fairness, transparency, security, and compliance principles into AI solutions.
- Research and apply emerging AI frameworks, tools, and techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least six years of hands-on engineering experience with proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, C++, C#, or JavaScript.
- At least one year of experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn, including deploying models to production.
- Experience applying large language models, generative AI, or open-source agent-based frameworks to business solutions.
- Experience delivering at least one large-scale ML/AI application or service on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, data structures, and applied optimization.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and MLflow.
- Ability to translate research and experimental AI approaches into practical enterprise solutions.
- Advanced degree in AI, ML, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with transformers, edge AI, federated learning, or real-time inference systems is preferred.
- Contributions to open-source AI projects, patents, or published research are preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
