Base Salary
$218k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design, implementation, and operation of authentication and authorization capabilities.
- Build secure, low-latency Go and gRPC services for web, mobile, API, and partner experiences.
- Lead technical designs for complex initiatives like signed authorization tokens and biometric recovery.
- Collaborate with product, security, fraud, and infrastructure teams to balance various requirements.
- Simplify integration patterns and create self-service tooling for product teams.
- Mentor engineers and enhance the technical standards through reviews and participation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of backend software engineering experience with proficiency in Go or a similar language.
- Experience designing secure APIs and managing authentication and authorization processes.
- Proficiency with gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and data stores like Redis or DynamoDB.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects from design to production.
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly to improve workflow efficiency.
