Responsibilities
- Build clean, scalable, reusable software and enforce software engineering best practices.
- Own code throughout design, implementation, test automation, and delivery.
- Design software that customers can extend and customize.
- Design and implement new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite.
- Make full-stack architectural decisions across AI integration, performance at scale, SSR runtime systems, and the ServiceNow Glide platform.
- Collaborate with product owners and coordinate across multiple teams.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with Java or a similar object-oriented language.
- Experience critically thinking about or integrating AI into workflows, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Strong interest in JavaScript, the web platform, reusability, and componentization.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance and scale considerations.
- Experience with a modern UI framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Analytical and software design skills.
- Working knowledge of IDEs, debuggers, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, and Unix system administration tools.
