Base Salary
$140k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate foundational systems for Scrunch's platform.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and developer tooling.
- Ensure observability and reliability of infrastructure systems.
- Optimize database performance and address bottlenecks proactively.
- Create reliable, retryable async pipelines using orchestration tools.
- Write production-quality code, primarily in Python.
Requirements
- Experience in a high-velocity software development organization.
- Proficient in designing and operating cloud services at scale, preferably on GCP.
- Experience with edge compute functions and understanding of when to use them.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
- Solid understanding of database performance and scaling patterns.
- Comfortable with workflow orchestration tools like Prefect or Airflow.
