Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems.
- Build REST APIs and engineer microservices for card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto liquidity.
- Perform greenfield development and improve existing business-critical systems.
- Apply clean code, maintainability, TDD, DDD, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Collaborate with a high-performing team to build products supporting financial inclusion and cross-border money movement.
Requirements
- Demonstrable backend development experience and fluency in Java.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another engineering or science discipline.
- Track record of building complex products used by millions of people in hypergrowth startups.
- Strong communication skills, including English fluency in verbal and written communication.
- Quick-learning, ambitious, and results-driven approach.
