Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automation and tooling for Broadband software validation and release readiness.
  • Build automation that reduces manual release-testing and quality-reporting effort.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and analytics for product quality and release health.
  • Integrate test frameworks, defect-management systems, and reporting platforms.
  • Support quality initiatives for Broadband gateways, routers, Wi-Fi devices, and RDK-B platforms.
  • Analyze test results, logs, telemetry, and operational data to identify quality risks and trends.
  • Support root-cause investigations, defect triage, and release-predictability improvements.
  • Develop practical AI-assisted solutions for defect summarization, test-case generation, log analysis, knowledge search, and release reporting.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement in quality engineering tooling and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with consideration for coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
  • 7–10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong software engineering experience with Broadband or device software experience.
  • Experience developing applications using LLM APIs or AI services and understanding prompt engineering concepts.
  • Experience creating internal engineering assistants, chatbots, or knowledge-retrieval solutions.
  • Experience with Grafana, ELK, Kibana, and Splunk.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern analytics solutions.
  • Experience supporting release engineering or large-scale quality programs.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.
