Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation and tooling for Broadband software validation and release readiness.
- Build automation that reduces manual release-testing and quality-reporting effort.
- Create dashboards, reports, and analytics for product quality and release health.
- Integrate test frameworks, defect-management systems, and reporting platforms.
- Support quality initiatives for Broadband gateways, routers, Wi-Fi devices, and RDK-B platforms.
- Analyze test results, logs, telemetry, and operational data to identify quality risks and trends.
- Support root-cause investigations, defect triage, and release-predictability improvements.
- Develop practical AI-assisted solutions for defect summarization, test-case generation, log analysis, knowledge search, and release reporting.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement in quality engineering tooling and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with consideration for coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- 7–10 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong software engineering experience with Broadband or device software experience.
- Experience developing applications using LLM APIs or AI services and understanding prompt engineering concepts.
- Experience creating internal engineering assistants, chatbots, or knowledge-retrieval solutions.
- Experience with Grafana, ELK, Kibana, and Splunk.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern analytics solutions.
- Experience supporting release engineering or large-scale quality programs.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.
