Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Murex integrations across trading, risk, and settlement systems.
- Architect interface and middleware strategies connecting Murex with enterprise banking platforms.
- Configure and customize Murex MxML Exchange, Datamart, and workflow components.
- Automate trade-lifecycle processes to improve straight-through processing and operational efficiency.
- Use SQL, Oracle, and Sybase to support scalable data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of high-impact integration and performance issues.
- Collaborate with technology, operations, risk, and compliance stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal best practices and knowledge repositories.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on Murex integration and solution-delivery experience within financial institutions.
- Expertise in MxML workflows, APIs, Datamart, Databridge, and middleware solutions.
- Deep understanding of capital-markets front-to-back trading, risk, and post-trade workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting, SQL, IBM MQ, Kafka, and REST APIs.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and optimizing complex Murex environments.
- Familiarity with FRTB, Basel III/IV, and their implications for integration and reporting.
- Experience working in Agile environments with a focus on quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
