Responsibilities
- Develop and test embedded software for real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and evaluate hardware/software interfaces and system operational performance requirements.
- Create software test procedures, programs, and related documentation.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, debug, and repair software defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on software and system development.
Requirements
- Applicants must be pursuing a master's degree or have completed one within the last 12 months in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, information security, or a related field.
- Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis principles to software development for target applications.
- Work with C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL, Perl, Python, Ajax, and Qt across multiple operating systems and embedded platforms.
