Responsibilities
- Manage the compliance data center lifecycle, including cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and stability.
- Own the reliability and stability of the compliance data center and related core PnS products.
- Design, develop, and improve products related to efficiency and stability.
- Review application architectures, identify risks, and resolve or drive solutions for those risks.
- Build and improve monitoring, alerting, downgrade, and contingency mechanisms.
- Organize and participate in operational drills, incident response, bleed-stopping, and accident reviews.
- Improve operation and maintenance procedures, stability plans, and overall service quality through software development and new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of computer software fundamentals, Linux, storage, and network I/O principles.
- Working experience with one or more of Python, Go, or C++.
- Proven experience analyzing and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale distributed systems in SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS.
- Preferred: product sense, system design ability, structured problem-solving, ownership, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
