Base Salary
$16k - $282k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the vision and development roadmap for robotic perception technology.
- Serve as the technical authority on state-of-the-art computer vision technologies and their application to fulfillment-center automation.
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of integrated automation and robotic perception systems, especially for robotic manipulation.
- Work with engineering teams and stakeholders to execute project plans and delivery commitments.
- Deliver production-quality hardware and software perception systems meeting scalability, reliability, availability, extensibility, and performance objectives.
- Develop innovative solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a closely related field.
- At least 6 years of backend software development experience.
- Experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions for robotic perception and logistics automation.
- Preferred: 8+ years developing and deploying AI/ML and robotic perception solutions.
- Preferred: Master’s or PhD in a related discipline with 8+ years of fulfillment-center and logistics automation experience using robotic manipulation.
- Demonstrated experience building, integrating, and delivering reliable automated warehouse systems using AI, ML, computer vision, robotic arms, and robotic manipulation.
- Deep knowledge of real-time AI/ML, DNNs, object detection, tracking, recognition, pose estimation, 3D data processing, 3D object recognition, and automated sensor calibration.
- Expertise in robotics, robotic manipulation, automation systems, and the robotic perception ecosystem, including 2D, 2.5D, and 3D sensors and real-time computer vision platforms.
- Proven innovation and problem-solving experience in logistics and fulfillment automation using computer vision and robotic arms.
- Experience building high-quality real-time robotic perception systems, including sensor, hardware, and software design, code reviews, and QA processes.
