Base Salary
$152k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end engineering and machine-learning methods for highly ambiguous, large-scale, and complex problems
- Build, proof-of-concept, experiment with, optimize, and deploy machine-learning models into production
- Establish scalable, efficient, and automated processes for data analysis, model development, validation, and serving
- Collaborate with Growth Marketing teams to build and deploy ML models and services
- Present results and explain methods to leadership
- Mentor junior engineers on the team and on partner teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a closely related field
- Eight years of experience on engineering teams building large-scale ML-driven user-facing products
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining highly available, distributed systems
- Experience with backend and ML systems for large-scale user-facing products
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams to ship new ML technologies
- Extensive knowledge of deep learning
- Experience with state-of-the-art ML techniques including transformers, self-supervised pre-training, generative modeling, and LLMs
- Hands-on experience training and applying models at scale
- Proficient coding skills in Java, C++, or Python
