Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and support complex software applications and subsystems across multiple projects.
  • Develop Java applications using Spring, Spring Boot, and Apache Camel for system integration and message routing.
  • Design and deploy container-based solutions using Kubernetes on Amazon EKS or Azure AKS.
  • Support cloud-native migration, legacy modernization, and dependency remediation efforts.
  • Implement authorization and access-control logic across applications.
  • Translate business and user requirements into technical specifications and evaluate existing system designs.
  • Coordinate software deployments, perform post-installation testing, and monitor post-release performance.
  • Perform unit, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing through implementation.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive application, design, and system documentation.
  • Establish project plans and conduct independent technical and functional analysis for projects of moderate and complex scope.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and three years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of those fields and one year of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise designing, developing, and implementing applications with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs in a microservices-based SDLC environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise modernizing legacy systems using structured refactoring techniques and dependency-remediation tools including Git and Groovy.
  • Demonstrated expertise automating CI/CD pipelines and migrating pipelines using Groovy-based automation scripts and Git version control in a cloud-based container-orchestrated environment.
  • Experience optimizing performance with multithreading, distributed caching, and key-value data store technologies.
  • Experience validating functionality with JUnit and code-quality testing in high-throughput application environments.
  • Experience applying SDLC and Agile principles to secure and scalable cloud-enabled software solutions.
