Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Lead or participate in design reviews to select technologies with peers and stakeholders.
- Review other developers’ code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Maintain documentation and educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
- Design, build, and evolve scalable distributed systems and media-processing services.
- Drive complex technical features and architectural improvements from conception to launch, influence technical direction, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 4 years of experience with traditional enterprise data-center technologies, or 2 years of experience with cloud computing, infrastructure, storage, platforms, and data management.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of software design and architecture experience.
- At least 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies and programming in Kotlin.
Benefits
- US base pay is $174000-$252000, with a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
