Base Salary
$185k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the reliability, resilience, observability, and on-call support of approximately 150 performance-data vendor integrations.
- Maintain and improve C#/.NET integrations with vendor IoT APIs and independently investigate vendor-originated issues.
- Lead architecture and implementation for migrating C#/.NET integrations to Python and writing data to the lakehouse.
- Design and ship permanent fixes that improve the operational health of inherited systems.
- Improve integration documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Strengthen the architecture and security posture of integrations for military IL4 and IL5 environments.
- Communicate directly with third-party vendors when their APIs cause integration problems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong mastery of C# and .NET.
- Experience designing and building highly scalable distributed architectures on AWS.
- Fluency with Terraform.
- Experience building or maintaining RESTful API integrations across multiple systems.
- Working knowledge of vendor authentication protocols, especially OAuth 2.0 and the Authorization Code grant.
- Ability to manage technical communication with third-party vendors and deliver permanent system fixes.
- US citizenship and US-based residency.
- Python expertise or willingness to develop strong Python skills is preferred.
- Experience with IoT, wearable, or hardware-adjacent APIs is preferred.
- Experience applying modern AI techniques across the software development lifecycle is preferred.
