Base Salary

$80k - $110k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver agentic systems in which AI plans, executes, and iterates toward outcomes.
  • Build and ship production-quality solutions for efficiency and automation problems with direct business impact.
  • Participate in the full delivery lifecycle, including design discussions, development, testing, deployment, and iteration.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools, code generation, prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks in daily work.
  • Apply standards for AI-native systems, including state management, observability, non-determinism, and inference-cost awareness.
  • Develop testing and validation approaches for adaptive, non-deterministic systems.
  • Create clean, testable, maintainable solutions that strengthen shared engineering foundations.
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, architecture discussions, and team growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience; an M.S. is a plus.
  • 0–3 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong internship experience or personal project work considered.
  • Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, system design basics, and production software behavior.
  • Ability to build and deliver working solutions in at least one programming language.
  • Understanding of APIs, basic cloud concepts, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and curiosity about agentic systems.
  • Ability to learn independently, work through ambiguity, receive feedback, and understand business context.
  • Evidence of intellectual curiosity through personal projects, open-source contributions, or self-directed AI or systems engineering learning.
  • Experience with agentic frameworks, LLM APIs, workflow orchestration tools, AWS or equivalent cloud environments, or financial services and quantitative disciplines would help the candidate stand out.
