Base Salary
$130k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, cross-team projects from conception to production deployment.
- Drive technical direction for end-to-end, production-grade ML systems.
- Develop and operate services for high-traffic content discovery pipelines.
- Run large-scale A/B and multivariate experiments to validate models.
- Mentor engineers and establish best practices for scalable ML systems.
- Train, evaluate, and deploy ML models to production.
- Collaborate with teams to build large-scale ingestion and validation pipelines.
- Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a professional ML engineer or software engineer.
- Proficiency in at least one key programming language, preferably Python or Golang.
- Expertise in designing and architecting large-scale ML pipelines.
- Deep experience with distributed data processing frameworks like Spark.
- Strong cloud expertise, preferably GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience with embedding-based retrieval and large language models.
- Proven ability to optimize system performance and make informed trade-offs.
- Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
