Base Salary
$250k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and ship full-stack products across the insurance lifecycle
- Build AI-native underwriting systems that synthesize risk, structure messy data, and support decision-making
- Create claims tooling for review, coordination, and document-processing workflows
- Develop internal operational platforms for underwriting, claims, premium finance, member experience, and broker operations
- Build member-facing products combining conversational AI, navigation, and real-time healthcare workflows
- Design retrieval, memory, and evaluation systems to improve reliability and operational performance
- Work directly with operational teams to identify bottlenecks and eliminate manual work
- Own product architecture, backend systems, frontend experiences, AI integration, and production deployment end-to-end
Requirements
- Strong experience building and shipping full-stack products using Python, Postgres, TypeScript, and React or React Native
- Ability to independently own large systems from conception through production
- Strong product and engineering judgment in ambiguous environments
- High standards for execution, velocity, and code quality
- Preferred experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or fintech
- Preferred strong design sense and attention to UI detail
