Responsibilities
- Design and implement improvements across the Chrome graphics pipeline.
- Investigate and design new WebGPU API and shading-language features.
- Contribute to Dawn to improve performance and developer experience.
- Contribute to the ANGLE codebase to resolve stateful API and math-heavy bugs.
- Lead efforts to mitigate security risks through memory-safety mechanisms and higher-level mitigations in the graphics stack.
- Partner with the local technical lead to identify work, drive execution across distributed teams, and use AI to accelerate engineering productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of software development experience using C++.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: five years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience with graphics programming and low-level drivers or GPUs.
- Preferred: experience with graphics APIs.
