Base Salary
$214k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy and execution for multiple teams and backend/platform product areas across cloud and on-premises deployments.
- Shape technical roadmaps, translate requirements into designs, and guide architecture decisions across backend services, APIs, data-processing workflows, and infrastructure-oriented features.
- Improve engineering excellence through documentation, code reviews, secure coding, testing, observability, architecture standards, and CI/CD practices.
- Partner with Product Management, UX, Architects, cross-functional teams, and customers to resolve complex production issues and support escalations.
- Mentor engineers, lead design sessions and architecture reviews, and advance platform evolution and customer value.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 12 years of software development experience, or a master’s degree and 8 years of related experience.
- Experience applying data structures, algorithms, and system design to deliver complex features end to end.
- Experience designing, building, operating, and scaling production systems in cloud and on-premises environments within Agile/DevOps workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab.
- Experience with data-driven security tooling or security analytics platforms, secure design patterns, backend security principles, and complex customer or production issues.
- Expertise with backend technologies such as Python, Java, C, C++, or similar languages.
- Preferred experience with AI tools, ML methodologies, data pipelines, large-scale data processing systems, scalable platform innovation, distributed backend systems, engineering mentorship, and cross-functional platform initiatives.
