Base Salary
$119k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for physical synthesis.
- Develop a multi-threaded and distributed physical synthesis core engine in the Innovus Implementation System.
- Collaborate with a global R&D team on software development.
- Work with product engineers and technical sales to provide engineering solutions and customer workarounds.
Requirements
- Experience with C/C++ software development in a Linux environment.
- Strong understanding and extensive use of data structures and algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with an interest in working with customers.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required; Ph.D. track is a plus.
- Knowledge of physical synthesis algorithms, timing analysis, and multithreading preferred.
- Prior R&D experience with IC physical design tools preferred.
- Hands-on experience using physical design tools for design closure and knowledge of physical design flows preferred.
- Experience with Tcl and other scripting languages preferred.
