Base Salary
$164k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering plans for complex machine learning problems, including task decomposition, milestones, and estimates.
- Mentor junior team members and help them produce high-quality code and machine learning solutions.
- Develop, optimize, deploy, monitor, debug, and iterate on large-scale production machine learning models.
- Implement modern machine learning techniques to improve buyer and seller experiences.
- Run A/B tests to evaluate machine-learning-powered products.
- Collaborate with product managers, ML engineers, full-stack engineers, designers, and other engineering teams to deliver products to millions of users.
Requirements
- Proven experience using machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems, including areas such as natural language processing, image processing, reinforcement learning, deep learning, multimodal learning, or large language models.
- Experience training, deploying, monitoring, debugging, and iterating on production machine learning systems.
- Proficiency with databases, SQL, and scripting languages.
- Ability to develop project plans spanning multiple teammates, squads, and systems and lead their implementation.
- Experience taking projects from design to delivery independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to produce clear, testable, and maintainable code.
- Effective collaboration and communication with teammates and cross-functional partners.
