Responsibilities
- Implement software solutions using design patterns and industry best practices.
- Develop and modify product portfolio components across the full software stack.
- Analyze business needs with product owners and subject-matter experts and create sustainable technical solutions.
- Define functional and technical requirements and solution designs.
- Ensure solutions align with ARC architecture, design, and development standards.
- Collaborate with product owners, solution owners, senior technical team members, and other technical resources.
- Stay current with development tools, technologies, patterns, and methodologies and communicate technical findings to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred, with equivalent experience considered.
- At least 3 years of application programming experience across front-end interfaces, server-side applications, database queries, and the full software development lifecycle.
- At least 3 years of full-cycle application development experience, including design, development, and delivery.
- At least 1 year of experience with Agile, Scrum, and continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- At least 2 years of software development experience with AWS services, microservices, containerized architectures, and technologies including Node.js, Python, Java, and React.
- Working knowledge of integrating AI and LLM APIs into production applications, including RAG, vector databases, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
- Experience with AI coding tools such as GitLab Duo, GitHub Copilot, Cursor IDE, or similar tools.
- Ability to define functional requirements and translate them into technical requirements and solution definitions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, support peers, and contribute to larger project timelines.
