Base Salary
$110k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver projects supporting quarterly team goals.
- Design and write robust, reusable, efficient, and adaptable software across the stack.
- Build and scale data pipelines and event-driven de-identification services.
- Improve system quality through technical design, testing, code review, and engineering best practices.
- Identify and surface issues involving technical dependencies owned by other teams.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish goals and break them into executable projects.
- Mentor teammates, support their growth, and provide constructive feedback.
- Coordinate cross-team collaboration and help resolve recurring engineering problems.
Requirements
- A few years of experience working on software development teams.
- Ability to contribute to technical analysis, design, tradeoff evaluation, and best practices.
- Experience with distributed and event-based architectures.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments, troubleshoot roadblocks, document work, and coordinate across teams.
- Experience collaborating effectively and mentoring junior team members.
- Preferred experience with Docker, AWS, GCP, Python, Spark, dbt, SQL, or Airflow.
- Biotech, genomics, or precision medicine experience is preferred.
