Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and document software using C/C++, Java, Python, or Rust.
- Analyze and improve the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources.
- Build technical expertise in Tangram Flex products to support internal systems, customer deployments, and demonstrations.
- Perform system testing, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and integration across hardware and software systems.
- Participate in sprint planning, progress tracking, technical reviews, and integration events.
- Collaborate with software, systems, and cross-functional teams on requirements, designs, and system characteristics.
- Provide technical support and product guidance to customer engineers.
- Translate customer requirements for engineering, product, and sales teams and communicate technical findings, project status, and demonstrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
- Minimum three years of software engineering experience working within technical teams.
- Deep experience with C, C++, Java, or object-oriented design principles.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of work time to client sites, customer locations, and industry conferences.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Docker, Go, Rust, Haskell, network communications technology, unit testing, static analysis, fuzz testing, symbolic execution, technical documentation, proposal development, and customer presentations.
- Preferred domain experience includes DoD Open Architecture standards such as OMS and FACE, UAV or autonomous systems, MAVLink, AFSIM, embedded systems, subsystem integration, and Simulink.
