Responsibilities
- Lead development of tools and solutions that discover regressions before they are merged into the Windows OS codebase.
- Use software engineering, AI, and data analytics to improve compatibility results and guide engineering decisions.
- Lead feature development for the automation framework used to author test content.
- Enhance the test-authoring experience by developing AI solutions and leveraging MCPs.
- Collaborate with engineers in Dublin, Redmond, Nairobi, and other locations to address Windows compatibility issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and strong technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 4+ years of industry experience designing, building, testing, and shipping software.
- Preferred: 6+ years of industry experience designing, building, testing, and shipping software, including technical leadership.
- Experience working with and building AI solutions is highly desired.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, customer focus, product-quality orientation, and ability to work comfortably with ambiguity.
