Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement SecOps automation for threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Develop and maintain SOAR playbooks using platforms such as Splunk SOAR, Palo Alto XSOAR, and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cybersecurity automation frameworks.
- Automate compliance checks and reporting for NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Integrate SIEM, EDR, firewall, and IAM technologies into automated workflows.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Reduce manual effort in security monitoring, alert triage, and remediation.
- Contribute to automation strategy, mentor junior engineers, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Requirements
- At least five years of production support and IT automation experience.
- At least five years of operational experience with security technologies or relevant technical automation environments.
- At least five years of experience implementing or utilizing technology lifecycles and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree or four additional years of equivalent experience.
- Expert knowledge of networking protocols including BGP, DNS, and HTTP/S.
- Expert knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
- Expert network troubleshooting skills using packet capture and analysis tools such as Wireshark and TCPdump.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and incident response.
- Familiarity with cloud security automation in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to research, evaluate, and develop courses of action for security hardware, software, and tools.
- Excellent customer-facing written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience designing and implementing automation solutions across enterprise environments.
