Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance React.js web applications and React Native mobile applications using TypeScript.
- Deliver platform experiences across web, iOS, and Android in a cross-functional team.
- Build and maintain Back Office applications supporting casino operations, configuration, content management, and operational workflows.
- Integrate REST, GraphQL, and WebSocket APIs in collaboration with backend engineers and architects.
- Implement mobile capabilities including push notifications, background processing/loading, and offline or local content storage.
- Contribute to requirements breakdown, estimation, user-story refinement, test coverage, code reviews, debugging, and performance improvements.
- Support QA, Product, and Release Management in safely deploying web and mobile releases.
- Participate in continuous integration and delivery for web, Apple App Store, and Google Play Store releases.
- Use analytics, debugging, and performance tooling to improve the end-user experience.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Design, QA, Backend Engineering, Casino Operations, and other stakeholders in a regulated, high-traffic environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional frontend and/or mobile application development experience, including substantial recent production experience across both web and mobile.
- At least 3 years of production experience developing React Native applications with TypeScript.
- Strong React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript expertise, with solid HTML and CSS experience.
- Extensive experience with state management in large applications using MobX, Redux, or similar tools.
- Strong experience integrating REST, GraphQL, and WebSocket APIs.
- Experience building secure, performant, user-centric applications at scale.
- Strong understanding of client development lifecycles, application structure, platform and device APIs, debugging, performance, security, testing, and deployment.
- Strong knowledge of client-server architecture and the ability to contribute to technical and application architecture decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in gaming, sportsbook, fintech, or another high-traffic regulated environment is preferred.
- Browser-based debugging, web performance testing, Webpack, modern frontend or mobile testing libraries, and production MobX experience are preferred.
- Backend or full-stack development, API design, mentoring, or technical ownership across web and mobile workstreams is preferred.
