Base Salary
$210k - $303k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the Security & Privacy roadmap for the Multi-Product Platform division across a 3–5 year horizon.
- Define incremental milestones with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to de-risk execution and create business value.
- Shape technical direction using pragmatic security principles and AI-native strategies.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, cross-functional platform projects.
- Operationalize Security & Privacy standards while minimizing engineering overhead and preserving R&D velocity.
- Mentor and develop the next generation of technical leads.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong command of software design fundamentals, including distributed systems, the CAP theorem, and system-design tradeoffs.
- Deep expertise in authentication, authorization, and Security & Privacy best practices and related technologies.
- Ability to translate business objectives into sequenced technical plans with dependencies and success criteria.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex end-to-end projects across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Golang and Python.
- Experience across infrastructure, data platforms, machine learning, or similar domains is preferred.
- Contributions to open-source projects, engineering blogs, or industry standards are preferred.
