Responsibilities

  • Own and improve infrastructure across geographically dispersed data centers serving hundreds of millions of users.
  • Troubleshoot systems across the network, operating system, container runtime, and application layers.
  • Develop software, automation, tooling, and infrastructure using Go and/or Python.
  • Manage source code, artifact management, deployment, logging, monitoring, and configuration-management systems.
  • Operate infrastructure as an internal managed service with defined SLAs.
  • Drive cross-functional infrastructure initiatives to completion in partnership with development teams.
  • Scale and evolve foundational distributed systems and support capacity planning, disaster recovery, and scale testing.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused roles.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with GitHub, Artifactory, and Jenkins for source code, artifact management, and CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Expert-level Go and/or Python experience with a track record of shipping software.
  • Experience with configuration management at scale using Puppet, Ansible, or equivalent.
  • Strong systems expertise across networks, operating systems, container runtimes, and applications.
  • Experience running infrastructure as an internal managed service with defined SLAs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, an engineering-related field, or equivalent related experience.
  • Preferred: experience scaling distributed systems in public, private, or hybrid cloud environments and troubleshooting bare-metal and hypervisor-based systems.
  • Preferred: experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, scale testing, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
  • Strong communication, ownership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
