Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build enterprise-grade, large-scale web application platforms using Angular, Java/Spring Boot, microservices, and relational and NoSQL data layers.
- Own high- and low-level system design, including sequence diagrams, class diagrams, data models, security, scalability, and performance.
- Use AI coding agents for code generation, debugging, routine tasks, and delegation across multiple workstreams.
- Review and validate AI-generated code for structural integrity, security compliance, quality, and production readiness.
- Integrate agentic workflows into CI/CD pipelines and maintain end-to-end technical ownership of shipped solutions.
- Act as a hands-on player/coach in small, co-located squads and upskill junior engineers in AI-first development practices.
- Apply Corporate and Investment Banking domain knowledge to deliver solutions aligned with business outcomes.
Requirements
- Six or more years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for scalable microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Angular 19+, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, JSON, CSS, Web Sockets, and Ajax.
- Strong systems analysis, design patterns, data analysis, SDLC, unit testing, and CI/CD fundamentals.
- Experience with Oracle and SQL Server relational databases and MongoDB NoSQL databases, including database design and data modeling.
- Experience working with large datasets and using data analysis to generate insights.
- Hands-on proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent.
- Ability to write structured prompts, engineer context, and decompose complex problems for AI-agent delegation.
- Strong experience with GitHub and Jira, plus proven Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
- Functional understanding of Banking and the ability to connect technical work to business outcomes.
