Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Appian BPM applications and Appian plugins.
- Configure, debug, and integrate forms, reports, business logic, and interface components.
- Install and configure application servers and work with relational databases and SQL scripting.
- Support all phases of software development for large-scale, business-critical applications.
- Define and document architecture for technology implementations and translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.
- Support growth activities such as RFIs, RFPs, prototypes, and oral presentations when needed.
- Maintain certifications required for the relevant practice expertise.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of recent hands-on experience with Appian BPM, Appian plugin development, application servers, systems integration, relational databases, SQL scripting, and full-lifecycle software development.
- Experience with application servers such as JBoss, WebLogic, or IIS.
- U.S. citizenship, residence in the United States, and the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance are required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is desired.
- Appian Level 1 certification is desired; Level 2 or Level 3 Appian certification is also valued.
- Experience with Appian Tempo, Appian Sites, Java, Maven builds, federal software development, enterprise application integration, SOA, ESB, and n-tier client-server architectures is preferred.
- Experience with architecture documentation and common industry platforms and programming languages is preferred.
- Strong analytical, technical, written, verbal, interpersonal, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills are desired.
