Responsibilities
- Design application software patterns and software architecture.
- Develop frontend applications using web frameworks and reactive or responsive design techniques.
- Develop backend services using authentication, network and storage APIs, serialization and deserialization, server-side programming, and programmatic SQL.
- Elicit requirements from business partners and translate them into application solutions.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor custom applications using frameworks and systems such as Vue.js, Flask, and Hugging Face.
- Collaborate with the Patterns and Platforms team to leverage existing patterns and contribute to the patterns catalog.
- Participate in architecture and software development activities.
- Translate loosely defined requirements into technical solutions.
- Debug production issues across services and application components.
- Collaborate across teams on technology roadmaps, best practices, and AI solution adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience, including three or more years of experience as a full-stack developer or in a similar role in a digital technology organization.
- Development experience with Python.
- Experience with application software architecture and full-stack frontend and backend development.
- Experience with GitLab, Jira, and technical documentation tools.
- Strong technical collaboration, communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, documentation, and adaptability skills.
- Experience with agile software development and Scrum.
- Preferred certification in AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Preferred experience with Databricks and Hugging Face.
- Preferred experience building a Generative AI application.
- Preferred experience with .NET, C#, Java, or Node.js.
