Base Salary
$179k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Deliver robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Provide technical leadership across teams, including standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Partner with architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Identify improvement opportunities, reduce technical debt, and enhance system performance.
- Mentor engineers and influence long-term technology strategy through emerging tools and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, 7+ years coding with multiple listed languages, and experience with databases, cloud platforms, open-source frameworks, frontend frameworks, APIs, automated testing, version control, cloud troubleshooting, observability, and technical initiatives.
- Experience with AI-based coding tools, IDE copilots, and interactive AI tooling is preferred.
- Experience mentoring engineers, establishing coding standards, enforcing design patterns, and leading cross-functional engineering efforts is preferred.
