Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop cloud services and developer tools for the Prime Air delivery-drone program.
  • Design and build reliable, scalable, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
  • Collaborate with software developers, scientists, research teams, aerospace professionals, and other technical partners.
  • Contribute to coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Apply technical, research, and analytical capabilities to solve complex real-world delivery challenges.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
