Responsibilities
- Evaluate, integrate, and maintain developer tools, AI agents, repository guidance, and related integrations.
- Build and operate CI and scheduled agents that investigate failures, propose fixes, and provide actionable evidence to engineers.
- Improve automated pull request reviews by evaluating finding accuracy and reducing reviewer noise.
- Develop code-quality checks for complexity, file and function size, dependency cycles, and performance regressions.
- Work with package owners to set practical quality thresholds and support targeted refactoring.
- Improve development environments, testing, build, and release workflows so changes can be verified reliably.
- Prioritize improvements with engineering teams, support adoption through documentation and onboarding, and measure effectiveness, reliability, and operating costs.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining developer tools or engineering automation used by others.
- Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js skills.
- Hands-on experience using and integrating AI coding tools or agents, including validating outputs and applying human review.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and systematic debugging of build, test, or integration failures.
- Strong focus on maintainable code, useful automated checks, and behavior-preserving refactoring.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with engineers, and communicate clearly in English.
- Experience working effectively in a remote, globally distributed team.
