Responsibilities
- Estimate feasibility and identify implementation risks.
- Refine requirements and detailed designs and define unit-test approaches.
- Implement secure boot, secure flashing and updates, secure diagnostics, cryptographic/HSM services, secure communications, authentication, authorization, and security logging.
- Perform detailed design, coding, unit testing, static analysis, integration, and bench debugging.
- Analyze vulnerabilities, field issues, and defects, then implement and verify maintainable remediation.
- Maintain traceability and development evidence according to quality and cybersecurity plans.
- Participate in peer reviews and threat-informed design discussions.
- Provide production code, configuration, test results, integration evidence, and defect and vulnerability fixes.
Requirements
- Experience with embedded C/C++, microcontrollers, RTOS/Linux, and debugging tools.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR, CAN/CAN FD, Ethernet, UDS, and secure-software development.
- Knowledge of applied cryptography, key handling, and common embedded attack surfaces.
- Experience with unit testing, static analysis, configuration management, CI/CD, and Automotive SPICE.
- Preferred: HSM integration, secure elements, Python, penetration-test report analysis, and ISO/SAE 21434 exposure.
