Responsibilities
- Develop, test, roll out, and support new client-facing digital banking features.
- Collaborate with product owners, business users, operations teams, and global engineering teams.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle and implement the team’s strategic digital experience vision.
- Build and support scalable, resilient, highly available cloud-based platform capabilities.
- Develop external APIs using REST and webhooks where applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving programming or systems engineering.
- Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, algorithms, data structures, and software design.
- Experience working with NoSQL and/or relational databases.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multidirectional environment.
- Prior experience with high-availability, mission-critical systems.
- Preferred experience includes Kafka, React, SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle, NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and MongoDB, AWS, containers, external APIs, and webhooks.
- Experience in Transaction Banking, payments, financial services, or fintech is preferred.
- Practical experience with Scrum or Kanban and familiarity with OpenAPI are preferred.
