Responsibilities
- Build and implement automated systems for software development, verification, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain the reference environment used to verify Lattice workflows before release.
- Build and maintain representative test environments, including hardware-in-the-loop systems, while considering physical hardware performance and resource optimization.
- Implement software interfaces and product features that enable end-to-end testing across complex systems.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines, establish performance baselines, and apply reliability engineering practices to prevent regressions.
- Implement AI-enabled automation to identify and fix issues early in the development cycle.
- Run design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive features from ambiguous requirements through production-ready code across multiple Software Platform Foundations teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building automated verification suites at scale.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline development, SRE principles, automated testing frameworks, scripting for automation, and software development lifecycles.
- Hands-on experience automating Hardware-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop engineering and using them in production release processes.
- Expertise in automated regression, unit, and integration testing.
- Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and system development.
- Professional experience with containerization workflows and Terraform.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical industry experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and Docker or Kubernetes is preferred.
- NixOS experience and experience in regulated or high-reliability, high-traceability systems are preferred.
