Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, reliable, and high-availability systems for customers.
- Direct project life cycles while maintaining architectural integrity and engineering standards.
- Transform business requirements into technical solutions through cross-functional collaboration.
- Drive engineering and development speed by guiding technical initiatives.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to team and organizational success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience programming in C++ or Go.
- Experience architecting and designing distributed software systems.
- Experience in relational database design for the cloud.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience working with cross-functional partners in matrix organizational structures.
- Preferred: experience designing and managing public-facing APIs.
- Preferred: full-stack engineering experience building front-end and back-end features, server-side optimizations, and infrastructure.
