Responsibilities
- Build and enhance full-stack AI applications using .NET and modern front-end frameworks under senior-engineer guidance.
- Integrate AI/ML models, APIs, and services into business applications.
- Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces, preferably with React.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, development, testing, and iterative delivery.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, developers, and product stakeholders.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable, and secure code using established design patterns and coding standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, implementation notes, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Stay current with AI capabilities, .NET releases, cloud services, and front-end frameworks.
- Support product features that provide measurable value to end users and stakeholders.
Requirements
- A college degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, MIS, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least one year of related experience; two to five years of professional software development experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with applicable technology and Microsoft .NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, or Entity Framework.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3; React experience is preferred, with Angular also listed as a modern web technology.
- Basic experience integrating APIs, AI services, or machine-learning-enabled features into business applications.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools or agentic SDLC workflows such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL; NoSQL or vector database exposure is a plus.
- Familiarity with secure coding, scalable application design, cloud platforms, and Azure.
- Understanding of SOLID, dependency injection, and layered application architecture.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts, document activities and system functions, follow technical instructions, and collaborate across organizational levels.
- Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban and collaborative product development environments.
- Accounting or financial-sector experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel as required, be available on call, and lift up to 50 pounds.
